Description: A deciduous shrub or small tree, to around 3m high, with an upright to spreading habit. Leaves are broadly oval and mid green, turning rich yellow in autumn. Fragrant flowers are borne on bare stems in late winter, with dark red sepals at the base and narrow, crinkled, light yellow petals.
