Geirdarddiad / Etymology: Tulipa (TOO-li-pa): From the Turkish word for turban, which the flower resembles.
Dosbarthiad garddwriaethol / Horticultural Classification: (14) Greigii Group.
Description: A compact perennial bulb with broadly lance shaped, greyish-green leaves streaked with purple. This Greigii tulip has cup-shaped flowers, orange-yellow with red central markings on the outside. Flowers in mid spring and stands to about 30cm high.
